A Lawyer with an Entrepreneur’s Mindset
“While still a student, my interests went beyond law: I was also interested in trade, business and technology. Alongside my studies, I co-founded the e-law.bg platform, which made it easier to find a lawyer and made legal services more accessible to people. This early entrepreneurial experience shaped the way I think and taught me to approach the matters I would later handle more as an entrepreneur than as a lawyer. At the same time, I also took part in non-profit projects, which introduced me to valuable ideas and interesting people.
After graduating, I joined Leno AD as a legal counsel, at a time when it was a young financial institution specialising in alternative lending. The company grew fast, and so did I. Soon afterwards I took over the legal team as Chief Legal Counsel, and in 2016 I became Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors. In 2021 I was elected Chairman. With my contribution, Leno AD established itself as a leader in alternative lending and one of the largest financial institutions in Bulgaria, with a large team, a group of companies and branches abroad. It was there that I gained my most valuable experience, professional habits and contacts.
Alongside this, I developed my own legal practice over the years. My main focus has always been corporate and commercial law, real estate and intellectual property. Entrepreneurs and business clients also often approached me with personal legal matters, which I handled with the same dedication and attention.”
